Rules and Regulations

The Hunt is comprised of two parts: Part 1 and The Final

1.1 Part 1

Part 1 is open to all participants. You can advance to the next clue by solving the current clue, until reaching the end of part 1, where you will have the opportunity to register for The Final.

1.2 The Final

The first five groups to complete part 1 and register will advance to The Final to compete for the final prize. The Final will consist of the hardest set of questions The Hunt is to witness. You must be the best of the best to win against your opponent. 

Upon reaching the end of part 1, you must register your team of four, with whom you will also compete in The Final Round should you qualify. Teams cannot be changed after registration. Registration is done on The Hunt official website. Each team can only register once. Repeated registrations from one team will be invalidated. 

Note that you can expand your group, although additional members will not be officially registered as part of your team and will not be announced as the winner. It is your own responsibility to ensure your additional group members are trustworthy. 

Misbehavior including but not limited to damaging or removing The Hunt installments, using brute force, and intentionally hindering other participants from accessing The Hunt installments are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification from The Hunt. 

Sharing of information during any stage of The Hunt is allowed. However, it is strongly advisable to minimize information sharing during The Elimination should your opponent gain an unfair advantage from your leaked information.

Exploiting loopholes is considered cheating and discouraged by The Hunt. We urge you to play fair-game for the best The Hunt experience. We reserve the right to disqualify individuals from entering part 2 if investigation shows utilization unfair advantage. Should you find yourself, in such situation, you may still qualify by restarting the game and present proof of understanding of all puzzles.

Should your team prevail in The Final you will officially be the winner of The Hunt. The winners will receive a total prize money of $200 and will be announced at All School. Note that only registered members of your team will officially be winners. Any unregistered participants will not be acknowledged by The Hunt as winners.
